Breaking of vow

At times, you know,
we get too carried away that
we could not resist the feelings
and break the vow...

why the world is giving this much
sadness to others...
why couldn't people find happiness...
even when they are supposed to
have lost things they valued...?

I could not correctly understand... but I know,
my question is too over standard...
